A Light So Lovely: The Spiritual Legacy of Madeleine L’Engle – Sarah Arthur

A Wrinkle in Time captured my imagination as a child and was a favorite.  As a result, I was very eager to read this book.  It did not disappoint!  Although the author does include quite a bit of biographical information about Madeleine L’Engle, the primary focus of the book is detailing the powerful impact and influence she has had on others, and it is fascinating.

While this complimentary book was provided for review by Handlebar Marketing, no other compensation was given. All remarks are my personal and honest opinions.

The Secrets of Ninja School – Deb Pilutti

The Secrets of Ninja School is a delightful story that features a quiet, gentle little girl who doesn’t seem to possess many if any ninja skills.  Her ninja education takes a positive turn when she recognizes her own special talents and is finally brave enough to share them.  This book would make a great read-a-loud at the beginning of the school year.
