We have a little science enthusiast at our home.  She truly loves learning about the world around her.  This book captured her interest immediately, and we have read it again and again!  Secrets of the Garden details a family who decides to plant a vegetable garden in their backyard.  The daughter (Alice) delights in not only watching as the plants grow but seeing all of the other life within the garden that makes up numerous food chains and ultimately a food web.
