Travis Mills is truly an American hero.  His story displays an amazing love for our country and an incredible will to not only survive but thrive after the unthinkable happened during his third tour of duty in Afghanistan.  A victim of an IED blast days before his twenty-fifth birthday, Travis survived but became a quadruple amputee.  Although an interesting read throughout, the final third of the book that details the rehabilitation process and life for Travis and his family now was particularly compelling.
