A little kitten’s enthusiasm for a friend helps a cat who appears grumpy to come out of his shell.  Rather than being grumpy, it becomes clear that the cat was simply lonely and needed a friend but did not know how to go about making one.  This would make a fantastic read aloud book for preschoolers.
