That’s Me Loving You is a wonderful book that features the unconditional love of a parent. It would be a terrific story to share to support a child who was a bit nervous/cautious about being apart from a parent while at pre-school or other activities. A lovely read-aloud picture book option.
Love You by Heart is a delightful book that celebrates unconditional love. This book would be a lovely gift from a parent or grandparent to a child. This one is a winner!
Little Oink is another silly tale from Amy Krouse Roshenthal. It features Little Oink who is a very neat and tidy pig. His parents work hard to help Little Oink be a respectable pig who can make a really good mess.

Can I Tell You a Secret is a precious book that features a little frog with a big secret – He is scared of the water and cannot swim! This would be a problem for anyone to be sure, but it is a huge problem for a frog. Ultimately, Monty the frog learns that conquering your fears is a lot easier when you have the help of a friend. Can I Tell You a Secret is a darling book that would make a terrific read-aloud.
Sam and the Sticky Situation is a silly story about whining and addresses the fact that there are much better ways to communicate. Bright colorful illustrations bring the story to life. The book includes a parent resource page which provides discussion questions for families.

Although not specifically a Valentine’s book, this story is a sweet one!
Love Monster is such a cute character. I was excited to see that he is now featured in a number of books. Love Monster and the Last Chocolate is a very sweet story that focuses on the importance of being a good friend and the rewards of showing kindness to others. We loved this one!
