Our daughter re-discovered this book recently and found it was a reassuring read during these uncertain times. This review was originally posted December 18, 2014.
It Will Be Okay: Trusting God Through Fear and Change is a terrific book. The friendship that develops between little seed and little fox is a sweet one. Their adventures together ultimately help them realize that although things around them may change – God is always there.
For little ones who tend to be anxious and worry, this book is a must have!

Plant a Kiss is an uplifting story about generously sharing your gifts. The text is deceptively simple for a book with such a meaningful message, and the pictures are a delightful addition to the text. This book could be easily used for a meaningful read-aloud with learners of all ages.

The Water Princess presents the childhood experience of Georgie Badiel in Burkina Faso. This book combines lyrical story telling with beautiful illustrations. It would be a great literary element to include in a study of water and the scarcity of this precious natural resource throughout many areas in the world.
David Litchfield’s follow up to The Bear and the Piano is a winner. Once again using music, beautiful illustration, and themes of depth, Litchfield captivates the reader on a musical journey focused on the power of friendship. This is a terrific read aloud for all ages.
The Rabbit Listened is a a remarkable children’s book. With limited text and expressive illustrations, empathy is fully displayed by sweet rabbit who understands the value of listening. This wonderful book is perfect for a read aloud with learners of all ages.
Cuddle Monkey is a very sweet story. Lewis the Monkey loves to cuddle. With the new addition of brother Owen to the family, his parents don’t seem to have much time for cuddles. Lewis searches for cuddles from others throughout the day with no real success, but ultimately he finds that cuddles from Mom and Dad will always be available.
Lisa Tawn Bergren has a new book. Our family love her God Gave Us You series and was eager to read her newest work. Mama Kisses, Papa Hugs is a sweet tale that highlights the love shown by parents for a child and how that mirrors God’s love for all of His children. This encouraging bedtime story is perfect for preschool aged children.

Little Mole’s Wish is a beautiful tale about friendship which is told in a kind and gentle manner. The illustrations are simply beautiful and bring this touching story to life. An amazing children’s book that deserves a place in your home library.

Jesus Rose for Me is a terrific resource for sharing why we celebrate Easter with preschool and early elementary aged children. Clear, easy to understand text is coupled with engaging illustrations. The questions for further discussion found throughout the book are great for pause points to check for understanding and discussion. This one is a winner!
