In their search for perfection for their sandcastle creation, two friends work tirelessly making improvements. Ultimately, they learn that perfection is all a matter of perspective. It Is (Not) Perfect is cleverly written and beautifully illustrated. A great book for young learners as well as those with a bit more life experience.
I will be posting reviews on Mondays only during the summer.
I looked long and hard for a Bible map study aid. I particularly like the “Then and Now” format this provides. Additionally, it includes maps for specific Bible stories as well as helpful charts and timelines. This is a terrific resource!

I am looking forward to starting the summer with lots of quality time with our little lady. My next new review will be posted on June 14th.

Can I Tell You a Secret is a precious book that features a little frog with a big secret – He is scared of the water and cannot swim! This would be a problem for anyone to be sure, but it is a huge problem for a frog. Ultimately, Monty the frog learns that conquering your fears is a lot easier when you have the help of a friend. Can I Tell You a Secret is a darling book that would make a terrific read-aloud.
This powerful book provides an encouraging guide for those that struggle with mental illness. Robinson shares her personal story living with depression and her recovery from a Christian viewpoint.
