The amazing illustrations cannot help but pull in the reader, and the impact and influence of prayer are powerfully shown through the text.
Always Daddy’s Princess is one of the sweetest picture books ever. It follows the relationship of a father and daughter from birth through adulthood. The text is charming, and the pictures truly capture the special relationship shared by father and daughter. Throughout the book there are also Bible verses that correspond with all of the different stages of growth and development that the daughter is going through during the story. This one is a winner!
After enjoying Get to Know Mary, I was very fortunate to be given another book from the series to review for my blog.
Get to Know the Apostle Paul is another outstanding biography for children. The introduction of historical information presented in such an interesting and engaging way makes this another winner. The full color pictures and the variety of specialized sections within the text that feature interesting facts, maps, and scripture are all very well done.

Get to Know Mary is a great biography for children. It is part of a growing series of books featuring notable people from the Bible written by Nancy I. Sanders. Our soon to be second grader has been fascinated by learning more about Mary and the time period in which she lived. This book provides a lot of historical information in an interesting, engaging way. The pictures throughout the text enhance the book. The picture based timeline at the back of the book was a particular favorite.

The Young Women of Faith Bible is designed specifically for tween and teen girls. It features weekly Bible studies that apply Bible truths to daily life. There are side notes throughout the text which provide additional explanation for the reader and a memory challenge section which highlights meaningful verses. The way this Bible is formatted encourages one to want to read and study the word of God. This Bible is an excellent option for girls nine and older.

Our daughter was eager to have a Bible of her own rather than using one of her Bible Story books. The Jesus Bible was a great find. The introduction of each book includes where Jesus can be found within the book, who wrote it, why the book was written, as well as other details that help with application. Throughout the text there are also over three hundred devotionals. The Jesus Bible is a geared toward children 9-12 although younger children will enjoy it as well. Our almost seven year old delights in reading and exploring her new Bible.

This is such a sweet retelling of the Christmas story. It features the welcoming of Baby Jesus by all of the animals in the barn. Beautiful pictures bring the story to life.
Humble Heart ~ A Book of Virtues is a wonderful collection of short stories. Each story focuses on a specific value and features an animal as the main character of the story. Whether we were reading about Felicity Frog demonstrating joy, Lancelot Lion displaying courage, or any of the other animal friends, all of the stories were engaging. Each story gently introduces a virtue and then concludes with a question to discuss with your child.

Mary, Did You Know? is a picture book version of the popular Christmas song with the same name. The illustrations are stunning, and the scriptural references on each page along with song lyrics are a thought provoking combination. This is a new favorite for our family!
This book is an illustrated version of the hymn All Things Bright and Beautiful. It is masterfully done. The illustrations are beautifully executed and depict a little girl enjoying a day in the country. Our little nature loving girl found this book at the library and has read it again and again.
